The Wimberley Arca-Swiss Flash
Bracket
This bracket attaches almost
instantly to the quick release plate of your telephoto lens and wraps
180 degrees around the lens to position the flash above the lens. No
more dropping and turning little screws for five minutes... Adjust
the vertical position of the Tilt Arm on the Upright for different
sized telephoto lenses. Flip the Tilt Arm upside down to lower the
flash even further. You can also attach the Tilt Arm so that it
positions the flash off-center.

Wimberley Lens Plates
Wimberley lens plates come with safety stops at the front and back of the
plate. No more worrying about your expensive lens accidentally
slipping out of the quick release clamp. The above feature
is unique to Wimberley Plates. I recommend that you opt to use both stops.
When you do this, you must open the jaws of the quick release clamp wide
enough to load your lens from the top (instead of sliding the plate in.*
Using both stops will ensure that your big expensive lens will never fall out
of the clamp should you (as we all do every now and then) forget to tighten
the clamp when balancing your rig fore and aft. (Darrell Miller was my first
P-50 customer and you can figure out why...)

Wimberley Lens Plates
The suggested plates allow enough length to easily
balance your lens in almost every configuration. The plates are
generally at least 3/4" longer than the mounting foot of the suggested
lens. This allows you to attach a flash bracket to the top surface of
the plate.
For Canon EF Lenses:
The P-20 plate is perfect for the 180mm
Macro, the 70-200mm f/2.8, the 80-200 f/2.8, the 35-350 zoom, all of the
300mm f/4.0s, the 100-400mm IS zoom, and the my beloved "toy lens" the
400mm f/5.6.
The P-40 plate is perfect for the 500mm
f4/5.
The P-40 plate plus one reducer bushing* is
perfect for the amazingly popular 500mm f/4.0 IS lens.
A reducer bushing is needed for some of the
Canon IS super-telephotos because one of the mounting holes is larger
than the other (to accommodate sports photographers using monopods).
The P-50 plate is perfect for the 400mm
f/2.8 II and the 600mm f/4.0.
The P-50 plate plus one reducer bushing* is
perfect for the 400mm f/2.8 IS, the 600mm f/4 IS lens and the old EF
800mm f/5.6L.

The P-40 is correct for the 400mm f/2.8 AF-S and
for all Nikor 500mm AF lenses.
The P-50 is correct for 400mm f/2.8 AF-I, all of
the 600mm lenses, and the old manual focus 800mm f/5.6.

The JRF Protective Neoprene Lens Covers are individually designed and
manufactured for the Canon 500 mm and 600 mm IS lenses. The
camouflage-patterned neoprene protects your lens from the nicks, dings, and
scratches that scar your expensive investments. The camo also takes the edge
off the effect of swinging a big white lens off your shoulder after carefully
approaching a free and wild bird, somewhat reducing the chance that you will
cause the bird to flee.
We are receiving a large shipment of these
hard-to-keep-in-stock items in mid-June. All of the (newly-designed and
manufactured) covers listed below feature a clear, flexible UV-PVC
material that will cover and protect the AF (&IS) control panels from
weather and scratches. Some of the controls can be operated through the
clear covers; for others, it will be necessary to custom punch holes with
a 1/4 inch hole punch.
