TWO INCREDIBLE
WEBSITES
Looking at great natural history images is a sure way to develop
your creative eye, your photographic vision. Check out Tony
Sweet's photography at:

His flower images are especially wonderful and I guarantee that
your time at his site will be well spent.
Matt Haggadorn is a veteran of several IPTs, and feels that "I
can see the big improvements after each IPT I've done with
you." He has completely re-designed his web site,
http://www.mhbirdphoto.com/
and the design, as well as the images, are exquisite. In
addition, Matt is an expert on all aspects of digital
photography who has helped hundreds of folks improve their
scanning skills. In the "Articles" section, there is lots of
great info on scanning and other aspects of digital photography
including printing. I delighted at seeing the BIRDS AS ART
influence while touring Matt's site. (Seven of the 11 images on
Matt's spectacular home page were made on IPTs...) Visit soon;
you will enjoy it immensely, and learn a ton if you'd like to.

MORE ON THE
CHUCK LOFTIS CRITIQUE
Response to my
critique of Chuck Loftis' images (on-line) was enthusiastic and
totally positive. Many folks wrote stating that they could
not believe how much they learned by taking the time to view the
images and read the critiques. Chuck wrote stating that the
images had gotten more than 1,000 hits in a very few days. As
there was a problem with the Black-necked Stilt image, Chuck has
been kind enough to re-post all of the images along with my
comments at:
http://www.pbase.com/cloftis/image_critique
He will be
posting some Photo-Shop edited versions there soon. Thanks
Chuck!
